Refund Policy

Summer Program refunds may be granted for “last minute” schedule changes, family emergencies, or child injury outside of camp preventing program attendance[1] using the Refund Timelines list below.  All refund requests must be submitted by email to cguelke@redbarncc.com, NO EXCEPTIONS.  The date the email is sent will determine refund eligibility as outlined below.  The summer program registration fee is non-refundable.   Loss of camp time due to inclement weather, loss of power, or other events outside of the control of Red Barn are not eligible for refunds[2].

Refund Timelines 

o Changes made to schedules prior to June 1st are fully refundable minus the registration fee.

o  Changes made after June 1st and before the start of the summer program are eligible for a refund minus a 25% fee (based on camp costs for the cancelled dates).

o  Refund requests received 20 or more days prior to the start of your child’s scheduled start date and after the start of the summer program will be eligible for a refund minus 35% fee.

o  Refund requests received 15 to 19 days prior to your child’s scheduled start date will be eligible for a refund minus 45% fee. 

o  Refund requests received less than 15 days prior to your child’s scheduled start, do not qualify for a refund.  

o  A FULL REFUND may be offered if your child’s scheduled attendance is affected due to Red Barn scheduling error and reasonable accommodations cannot be made.

Make up days may be offered within the same summer program season as an alternative to refunds and may not carry over to subsequent year’s program costs.  If make up days are accepted and subsequently cancelled no refunds nor rescheduling will be offered. 

[1] A note from the child’s pediatrician may be required. 

[2] We will make every effort to schedule make up days or apply a credit to your account equal to 50% of the lost days to be used in subsequent summer or 100% of the cost for days used within the same summer program.  Make up days offered but not taken are considered to be equal exchange and no further days will be offered or credited.
